President Donald J. Trump countlessly dodges questions concerning a release date for the Epstein files and justifies U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents killing Americans on the street and somehow this has resulted in multiple celebrities preaching he is God’s gift for Americans.
In 2006, our current president had an affair with a pornstar, telling her the only way she would make it out of her trailer park home was if she had sex with him, according to a May 7, 2024 ABC News article.
To keep her silent during his 2016 presidential campaign, Trump paid her $130,000 in hush money, according to the same article.
Recently, YouTuber Jake Paul has publicly shown his support for the president, saying Trump is doing things that maybe don’t make sense to a lot of people, but will benefit the country in the long run, according to a Oct. 30, 2025 Fox News article.
This may seem bizarre, but it isn’t out of the ordinary to see people in positions of fame and great influence blatantly ignore Trump’s crimes and defend him as if he is a Lord to all.
Jake Paul, and many other influencers, don’t realize how harmful it is to support the Make America Great Again movement (MAGA). They fail to see the faces of their millions of fans in genuine horror and disgust when people they look up to suddenly betray them so carelessly.
Preaching MAGA goes beyond its implications and indirectly implies that your favorite role models actually may not even care about you at all.
Unfortunately, MAGA celebrities have spread more quickly than you may think.
Many know that rapper and singer Nicki Minaj has come out as a Trump supporter and have seen pictures of her holding hands with the president.
Minaj claims he is an authentic human being, praising him for making her feel safe and as if they had made a genuine connection, according to a Feb. 4 New Jersey Local News article.
“When I saw how he was being treated over and over and over, I just couldn’t handle it,” Minaj said in an interview with Katie Miller, wife of Stephen Miller, who is the deputy chief of staff for policy.
Despite Trump, in 1995, saying that women can be grabbed by their vagina’s and that you can do anything to them, according to Independent, Minaj continues to stand by him.
While many of her fanbase, otherwise known as Barbz, see this as a sign to also support Trump, the majority deem her a traitor and shameless.
I guess the fans who don’t politically align with her, including me, fail to simply glaze over the fact that Trump continues to call undocumented citizens “aliens” in “his” country.
To him and his defenders, women, children and people coming to the United States for a better life must be exploited and punished.
I wonder if Minaj thought of her fans who are directly affected by Trump’s actions or if she can look into the eyes of undocumented children who have been separated from their parents and still claim Trump is an authentic human being.
Now when someone turns on music and Minaj’s song starts playing, it feels sinful to sing along.
Same goes for rapper Sexyy Red, who performed at a Trump advisors wedding with “Make America Sexyy Again,” according to a Feb. 2 article from Black Enterprise.
After revealing their political stances, many celebrities have lost noticeable fame and don’t know how to continue their careers.
This reminds me of pigeons being abandoned after years of domestication and only knowing how to make nests out of Q-Tips.
Finding out about celebrities that support Trump doesn’t necessarily amaze me, but instead humors me, since he himself has claimed that smart people don’t like him.
For a man that is mentioned more in the Epstein files than Jesus is mentioned in the Bible, I would say it is relieving to see who is in support of him. This makes it a lot easier to block those specific people instead of blindly guessing who we can and cannot stand by.
Following Trump transcends beyond simply liking controversial influencers or beliefs, it is a complete degradation of self and being, ruining pure beliefs and cultures humans have built over centuries.
Never let those in power desensitize you to what horrible things are currently happening in our home.
