Goal: To help stimulate JMC School student interest in participating in lively classroom discussions about timely topics and issues in the news, or in our media professions. The series started in Fall 2017 when JMC School graduate students in MCOM 210: Media and Social Issues began recording their insights and thoughts in the studio. After identifying timely news and media industry issues of importance, they researched each topic, then presented their findings and analysis during short ‘roundtable’ discussions videotaped in the JMC School Digital Television facility, DBH 139.
